Reports in Argentina claim that Milan have tabled an offer for Boca Juniors and former Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes, who has been back in his native Argentina with Boca Juniors for the last year.
Reports in Argentina claim Milan have made an offer to Paredes
Journalist Arevalo Martin has recently claimed on a live ESPN broadcast that Milan have made an offer to Paredes to convince him to return to Serie A after spending the last 12 months back in South America.
Martin’s report did not specify any details regarding a potential transfer fee, salary or contract length.
Paredes returned to Boca Juniors last summer for a fee reported to be in the region of €3m. He remains under contract for another two-and-a-half years, running until the end of the calendar year of 2028.
If Milan are to bring in any new midfielders this transfer window, it is expected that they will have to part company with a few of their current options first.
Calciomercato.com reports that the club are attempting to shift Warren Bondo before the close of the window. Yunus Musah is not expected to be a pivotal player under Ruben Amorim either, and it is believed that the club will listen to appropriate offers should they come in for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Youssouf Fofana, Ardon Jashari and Samuele Ricci.
Luka Modric, Adrien Rabiot and youngster Christian Comotto are the midfielders that are practically guaranteed to still be based in San Siro in September.
