White will join Argentina’s training camp as the team prepares for the 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup

Oregon soccer’s freshman forward Giselle White has been called up to Argentina’s U20 National Team, Oregon Athletics announced Monday.
White will join Argentina’s training camp as the team prepares for the 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, which begins Sept. 5 in Poland.
Before joining the Ducks, White had traveled to Colombia for the 2025 U17 Sudamericano CONMEBOL Tournament. She was then called back to Argentina’s national team in November 2025 for a U20 training camp.
The international call-up comes as White prepares for her first season with the Ducks.
Before being a new addition to the Oregon team, White played at Analy High School in California. While competing she earned all-North Bay League Oak Division first-team honors as a junior. She also achieved ECNL U16 all-conference second-team honors during the 2023-24 club season. During that season, she was named her team’s MVP and most valuable offensive player.
White joins the program as Oregon (3-10-5 overall, 1-6-4 Big Ten) looks to build on its 2025 campaign. Oregon will open its 2026 season Thursday at 7 p.m. against Portland State at Hillsboro Stadium in Hillsboro, Oregon.
