Battle for Happiness is a 16-episode thriller from Studio Genie
Argentinian platform Flow has acquired a selection of Korean series distributed by Canal+ Distribution for Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.
The selection includes LTNS, a six-episode romantic drama from CJ ENM, and Battle for Happiness, a 16-episode thriller from Studio Genie. The agreement also includes the extension of the rights to the Eve series, by CJ ENM.
Carlos Fernández, CEO of Canal+ Distribution America, said: “Series like LTNS and Battle for Happiness demonstrate the enormous interest that this type of production generates and allow us to connect with passionate audiences, strengthening our strategy of expanding Asian content in the region.”
Canal+ Distribution was known as Thema until November of last year. Its name change seeks to better reflect Thema’s membership in the Canal+ group, which acquired the company in 2014.
Flow is the TV and streaming platform of telecommunications group Personal.
