Adidas is officially bridging the gap between football and skateboarding with a unique new collaboration alongside Thrasher Magazine and the Argentine Football Association. Scheduled to launch on June 1, the expansive ten-piece collection honors the South American heritage of Thrasher founder Fausto Vitello, who was born in Argentina in 1946.

Adidas x Thrasher x Argentina 2026 World Cup Collection

By combining traditional football aesthetics with skate culture, the Three Stripes has created a distinctive capsule that builds momentum ahead of the 2026 World Cup while paying tribute to a highly influential figure in the skateboarding world.

Adidas Trasher Argentina Kit

The lifestyle and apparel side of the collection draws heavy inspiration from classic Argentina football designs, most notably referencing the away kit worn during the 1994 World Cup. The range merges recognizable light blue and white Argentinian colors and official AFA iconography with Thrasher’s signature branding across various t-shirts, crewneck sweaters, and accessories. Rounding out the off-pitch offerings is the Glenburn, a timeless adidas Skateboarding shoe that has been reinterpreted to reflect the styling of vintage indoor football footwear.

Adidas Predator Trasher

The centerpiece of the collaboration for boot enthusiasts is a special-edition Predator 26, which was recently debuted in training by Argentina international Rodrigo De Paul. The boots feature a predominantly black base engulfed by Thrasher’s signature flames on the forefoot, utilizing a gold and light blue color palette designed to match the 2026 Argentina home jersey.

While the apparel capsule will be available to the public in early June, these bespoke Predator boots are currently exclusive to friends and family and are not expected to receive a widespread retail release.
